Theo is a classically trained composer, with a wide variety of influences, including orchestral masters such as John Barry, Bernard Herrmann and David Arnold, as well electronic-heavy composers like Tom Holkenborg and Raffertie. Thanks to his guitar background, and long experience writing for pop/rock acts, he understands the importance of rhythm and structure – but his experience as a wind player (as a clarinetist and bassoonist) has also given him a deep understanding of the nuance of orchestral texture. He can use his diverse knowledge and skills to tailor a composition to a brief, no matter what that might be.
